PREY This series of photographs centres on the theme of natural beauty and man-made technological developments, The natural photographs juxtaposed with the technological ones are intended to illustrate the harsh contrast between the two themes. The series of natural environments could have been taken thousands of years ago and are intended to demonstrate the ongoing alientation of humanity from natural environments. The one image of the wooden structure bleeding into the technological one is intended as a bridge to show human manipulation of his environment and materials, which over time have led to space exploration and the production of weapons of mass destruction. This series is not intended to point a finger of blame to any one nation or race, but simply to cause a viewer to reflect on the images and to contemplate where they find themselves between the two polarities.
